Lathe Machine is one of CNC Machine Like Milling , VMC , HMC etc. Lathe also comes with manual operation where no computer program needed and also called “kharaad”.

It rotates the workpiece on its axis while various cutting tools are applied to shape the material.
The workpiece is held in a chuck or a collet, and as it rotates, the cutting tool is brought into contact with the material to remove excess material and create the desired shape.

Types of lathes are engine lathes, bench lathes, and CNC lathes. Lathes use single-point cutting tools that are typically made of high-speed steel.

Some advanced lathes have the capability to perform off-center turning or eccentric turning, which allows for the creation of asymmetrical or irregular shapes.

A lathe can be used to create tapered shapes by gradually reducing the diameter of the workpiece along its length.

Because of its multi axis rotation capability, it is very famous and must have machine in any manufacturing facility. It works in both directions Vertical and Horizontal.

Milling machines employ various cutting tools, such as end mills, face mills, and drills.
These tools have multiple cutting edges and can remove material in different directions. This machine can work on heavy to very heavy work-piece materials like – Steel and Stainless steel for cutting and Drilling purposes.

Milling machines can perform a wide range of operations, including face milling, peripheral milling, slotting, drilling, and profiling.
This versatility allows for the creation of complex shapes, slots, holes, and contouring.
