Compression | Transfer | Injection

As we know damage mould can cause problem with rubber product and to insure good quality rubber products we have to repair and maintain mould periodically.

Compression molding: is often used for medium- to high-volume production of rubber parts, such as gaskets, seals, and grommets.

Transfer molding: is often used for more complex rubber parts, such as those with intricate features or tight tolerances.

Injection molding: is the fastest and most efficient rubber molding process, and it is often used for high-volume production of rubber parts.

Mold Maintenance Work

Mold Maintenance in house facility! We are equipped with all tools and techniques to repair and take care of all kinds of mold. We can also repair imported Molds where 3D data not available.

Below are the steps we follow to repair and maintain rubber mould:

Clean the mold. Clean the area around the tear or hole in the mold with mild soap and water. Be sure to remove any dirt, oil, or debris.

Apply a release agent. Apply a release agent to the area around the tear or hole. This will help to prevent the adhesive from sticking to the mold.

Mix  & Apply the adhesive. Mix the two parts of the rubber mold adhesive according to the manufacturer’s instructions. If manufacturer’s data not available then we design 3d data for the mould to repair.

Apply a thin layer of the adhesive to the edges of the tear or hole. Be careful not to get any adhesive on the inside of the mold cavity.

Clamp the mold closed. Clamp the mold together so that the tear or hole is closed. Be sure to use clamps that are large enough to hold the mold together tightly, but not so tight that they damage the mold.

Allow the adhesive to cure. Allow the adhesive to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Remove the clamps. Once the adhesive has cured, remove the clamps.

  • If the tear or hole is large, you may need to patch it with a piece of rubber. To do this, we cut a piece of rubber that is slightly larger than the tear or hole. Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the back of the patch and to the area around the tear or hole. Place the patch over the tear or hole and clamp the mold closed. Allow the adhesive to cure completely before removing the clamps.

Sheet Metal Tool Maintenance

As we know sheet metal tools are essential for a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and construction.

Her we cover main areas where we need repair of sheet metal tools.

  • Wear and tear: Sheet metal tools are subjected to a lot of wear and tear during normal use. This can be caused by friction, heat, and stress. Over time, this can lead to wear on the cutting edges, bending dies, and other components of the tool.
  • Damage: Sheet metal tools can also be damaged by accidents or improper use. This can include dropping the tool, hitting it with another object, or using it to work on materials that are too hard or too thick.
  • Corrosion: Sheet metal tools can also corrode over time, especially if they are exposed to moisture. This can weaken the tool and make it more susceptible to damage.
