Cam-Cad Design

What is CAM?

CAM stands for “Computer Aided Manufacturing” . It is a computer aided program used to control machine for precision work. This software instructs CNC Machine to run through specific command to fulfil certain manufacturing task.

The program is designed in such a way to control the movement of machine in order to cutting , drilling or giving shape to manufacturing parts.

Machine component that either rotates or moves back and forth (reciprocates)
to create a prescribed motion in a contacting element known as a follower.

Basically it is a computer aided program design using 2D drawing. CAM software allows engineers and manufacturers to create virtual models of their designs.

This Virtual drawing in form of program instructs CNC Machine in order to produce / manufacture specific product.

The primary goal of CAM is to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity in manufacturing operations.

CAD Design

What is CAD?

CAD stands for ” Computer Aided Design “.  It is somewhat like CAM, it is also a computer generated program for design which instructs CNC machine to perform certain task in order to design a product.

It is used to analyze , modify and optimize designs for a wide range of products and their structures. It is a digital representations of physical objects, which can include 2D drawings or 3D models.
