CNC Machining Job Work:
CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining is a manufacturing process that involves the use of computerized machines to remove material from a workpiece to create a custom-designed part or product. CNC machining is commonly used in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics.

CNC Machining Involves different phases to complete certain tasks
-
Design: The first step in CNC machining is to create a design of the part or product that needs to be produced. The design is typically created using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
- Programming: Once the design is created, the next step is to program the CNC machine to follow the design specifications. The programming involves creating a set of instructions that the machine will follow to produce the part or product.
-
Material preparation: After the programming is complete, the workpiece is prepared for machining. This may involve cutting the material to size or securing it in a fixture or vise.
-
Machining: The CNC machine is then started, and the machining process begins. The machine follows the programmed instructions to remove material from the workpiece and create the desired shape and size.
-
Inspection: Once the machining is complete, the finished part or product is inspected to ensure that it meets the required specifications. If any defects or deviations are found, adjustments may be made to the program, and the part may be machined again.
-
Finishing: Finally, the finished part or product may be finished or treated to achieve the desired surface texture or other properties.
CNC machining is a versatile and precise manufacturing process. We at Integrated Solutions offer all types of CNC-VMC job work with precision . Our Cost effective and skilled manpower provide versatility and robust machining service with experts support on every phase.
CNC machining offers numerous advantages, including high precision, repeatability, efficiency, and the ability to produce complex parts with tight tolerances. It is widely used in various industries, including automotive, aerospace, electronics, medical, and many others.
CAM Programming: Once the design is complete, the next step is to generate a CNC program using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. The CAM software takes the 3D CAD model and generates the toolpaths and instructions required for the CNC machine to manufacture the part.
Machining Operations: With the machine properly set up, the CNC program is executed, and the machining operations begin. The CNC machine moves the cutting tool or workpiece in multiple axes (X, Y, and Z) as specified in the program. The cutting tool removes material gradually, following the programmed toolpaths, until the desired shape and dimensions are achieved.
Once the primary machining operations are complete, additional finishing operations may be required to refine the part’s surface finish, remove sharp edges, or add specific features. This can include processes like milling, drilling, tapping, grinding, or polishing, depending on the requirements.

VMC machining offers several advantages, including versatility, accuracy, and the ability to produce complex parts with relatively fast production times. It is commonly used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.
Functions of VMC Machine :
- Vertical Machining Center (VMC): A VMC is a type of milling machine with a vertically oriented spindle that can move along the X, Y, and Z axes. It typically has a table that holds the workpiece and a cutting tool that rotates to remove material.
Workpiece Fixturing: The workpiece, which can be made of metal, plastic, or other materials, is securely mounted onto the VMC’s table using various types of fixtures and clamps. This ensures stability and precision during the machining process.
Tooling: Cutting tools, such as end mills, drills, and taps, are selected based on the specific machining operations required. The tools are held in a tool holder and are exchanged as needed during the machining process.
Programming: A VMC is controlled by computer numerical control (CNC). Machinists or programmers create a program that specifies the tool’s path, cutting speeds, feed rates, and other parameters. The program is typically generated using CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.
Machining Operations: Once the workpiece is securely fixed and the tooling is in place, the machining operation begins. The CNC control system moves the spindle and cutting tool along the specified path, removing material from the workpiece to create the desired shape or features.
